PURPOSES AND FUNDAMENTAL
PRINCIPLES
PRAKSIS aims to:
• Provide social and medical services free of charge, in the fields
of therapy, prevention, education, medical infrastructure, etc.
• Provide secondary support services of social andpsychological
support, legal counseling, clinical and laboratory examinations,
as well as other actions of prevention and technical hygienic
support.
• Promote solidarity and volunteerism.
• Develop programs against social and economic exclusion of
vulnerable individuals and groups.
• Co-operate with local, municipal and regional institutions and
create networks to cover the needs of the target groups and
achieve the goals set by PRAKSIS.
• Ally with other NGOs in order to promote dialogue within the
Greek society as well as with official public bodies.
• Provide testimony to Greek, international, political, economic
and social organizations as well as towards every official
authority.
