Legal movements:
PRAKSIS, in cooperation with the National Council for Refu-
gees, appealed to the Council of State aiming at the issue of the
constitutionality of Ministerial Decision 39a,the application of
which, in May and June 2012, negatively affected women, HIV-
positive individuals, and drug users.The case is still pending,
having received two postponements from the Council of State.
Report writing:
in cooperation with the DIOGENIS company and due to the mul-
tilevel involvement of the organization from the start when the
HIV epidemic broke out among drug addicts in the center of
Athens, an information report on the issue was published that
included proposals to Greece’s political leaders for improving
the situation. The report is available in the website of DIOGENIS
and PRAKSIS in both Greek and English.
