PRAKSIS participates:
National Observatory against Racism and Xenophobia
(HLHR-KEMO)
Registry and report of the situation related to racism and
xenophobia in Greece towards refugees and minorities.
The HLHR-KEMO collects and evaluates data, and in-
cludes them in its reports for the Service for the Funda-
mental Rights of the European Union (FRA).
European Network ENHERA
The aim of this network is to find strategies and policies
that will propel the improvement of sexual and reproduc-
tive health of refugees, those who seek asylum, and immi-
grants at the European level. The founding meeting was
held in November 2008 in Ghent.
Network for the Social Integration of Roma (EuRomanet)
EuRomanet is a transnational network that was created
after the initiative of Spain and that aims at the develop-
ment of a common approach, common strategies and ini-
tiatives for the social integration of Roma.
Participation in the program: protect myself and the
others for the education of volunteersfor intervention
for natural disasters at the level of municipality or pre-
fecture
The program is conducted by the General Secretariat of
Adult Training in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior
(Fire Service), Public Administration and Decentralization
(General Secretariat of Civil Protection), Ministry of En-
vironment Country Planning and Public Works (Seismic
Design and Protection), Ministry of Commercial Ship-
ping (Coast Guard), Ministry of National Defense/Mo-
bile Disaster Response Team, EMAK (Specific Disaster
Response Teams), Aristotelio University of Thessaloniki,
Samaritans, and the National Red Cross. The aim of this
program is to train adult volunteers in Greek municipali-
ties so as to be ready to manage the dangers that come
from earthquakes, fires, and floods.
Self-Charter of Voluntary Social Responsibility and Ac-
countability of Non-Governmental Organizations
This is a global charter that underlines the common com-
mitment of the organizations that sign it voluntarily to best
practices, transparency,social responsibility and account-
ability to commonly-accepted aims, recognizing that the
above principles should apply to governments,enterprises
and non-governmental organizations alike.
Hellenic Network for the Fight against Poverty
The ”Hellenic Network for the Fight against Poverty,” in
collaboration with the European Network, organizes and
participates in working groups, meetings and seminars
aimed at the information and training of the members, the
exchange of experiences and the development of part-
nerships. The network observes and analyzes European
and national policies as well as programs that influence
