The program was co-financed with 25% National Contribution and
75% Communal Contribution. Yearly program 2011 for the period from
September 2012 to June 2013. PRAKSIS was financed with the approved
amount of 75.000,00€
In total, from the legal offices of PRAKSIS,
3.170 updates were carried out, including
1.647 at the offices of Athens, 838 at the of-
fices of Thessaloniki and 685 at the offices of
Patras. Beneficiaries of these programs were
immigrants mostly from Nigeria, Pakistan,
Russia, Moldava, Ukraine, Georgia, and Alba-
nia, plus, in a smaller number of cases, citizens
from Banglandesh, the Philippines, Belarus,
and Tanzania.
“Organization and implementation of festivals – groups” co-
ordination of neighborhood festivals” in cooperation with the
NGO Children in Action, within the framework of the project
”Actions in Neighborhoods” of Activity 1.2/11: “Awareness of
social reception in matters that are related to the integration
of immigrants – strengthening of the lawfully residing third-
country nationals” of the Fund for the Integration of Third-
Country Nationals. This program involved the organization
and the implementation of cultural neighborhood events in
Galopoulou square (Xirokrini, 2nd Municipal Community of
Thessaloniki) with the aim of encouraging intercultural urban
living between locals and citizens of third countries that law-
fully reside in Greece through common actions and small
scale interventions in the urban landscape.
PRAKSIS undertook part of the action with the NGO Children
in Action. The beneficiaries of the action was the Municipal
Company of Information, Spectacle and Communication/
Thessaloniki (DEPTHE).
