FIRST ASK
Under the framework of the campaign “ASK FIRST!”,
PRAKSIS carries out an awareness program for Hepatitis
B, C and HIV through the hotline (800 11 11 600) which is
available daily and provides information regarding the pre-
vention, transmission, and examination for these diseases.
Calls to the hotline, which is staffed with specially trained
scientific personnel, are free of charge and anonymous. For
the period 01/01/2013 – 31/12/2013, the PRAKSIS hotline
has answered 6,517 incoming calls.
The program was funded by GILEAD Company.
