Activities
The actions provided within this Measure’s framework include
the following:

Primary medical examination

Primary health services
•
Provision of psychological support/identification of vulner-
able populations
•
Implementation of basic public health measures, to prevent
epidemics
•
References to the local health system, and follow-up on the
cases where necessary
•
Legal aid
•
Provision of toiletries
From May 2013 to September 2013, 5 drives were made with the
Mobile Medical Unit, in 19 different points with large concentra-
tions of the target group, in the wider region of Thessaloniki. The
regions were chosen after investigative streetwork and oral testi-
monies by members of the target group itself. These are regions
where several members of the target group reside, work, and
gather.
From 18/09/2013 to 31/10/2013, the Mobile Medical unit made
30 interventions in 12 Detention Centers (SBS Idomeni;SBS
Polycastro;DPII Agios Athanasios;DPII Paranesti (Drama); DPII
Kordelio;SBS Mygdonia;DPII Thermi, Metagogon;SBS Doirani;
P.D. Serres;DPII Ormylia; andDPII Georgianoi).
