Technopolis
The mobile unit of PRAKSIS was invited to the SXEDIA concert
where it provided free of charge,anonymous and quick testing
for HIV.
YOGA EVENT / National gymnastic center of
Athens, I.Fokianos
The participants had the chance to watch a two-hour practice
in Yoga from four different trainers that represented different
types, by paying a nominal fee. The income was used in the
PRAKSIS program“SYN STO PLIN.”The band Bhakti Age Kirtan
participated in the event.
HELLENIC-AMERICAN CORPORATE SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) CONGRESS
The programSYN sto PLIN was presented as the best practise
CSR. PRAKSIS took part with an information kiosk.
EMMAUS
The French Embassy in Greece held a networking event in order
to inform and exchange good practices with EMMAUS Europe.
In the event, many NGOs took part, as did the Labor Minister of
Greece and the French ambassador.
MEDITERRANIAN COLLEGE
Volunteers from PRAKSIS made a presentation on the impor-
tance of volunteering.

PRAKSIS participated with in information kiosk about its activi-
ties and with a presentation of volunteers of the organization
titled”From the idea of volunteerism in PRAKSIS.”
WE PLAY TOGETHER / 643rd Athletic Center
of the Municipality of Athens
In the intercultural program“We Play Together,” a tournament
of football, basket and table-tennis was held. Our goal was the
exchange of experiences between young native students and
third-country nationals via sports as an international language.
PHILELLENES/ Event for the support of the pro-
gramSYN sto PLIN whichPRAKSISheld in Los
Angeles.
In cooperation with the American public relations company and
event organizer Jane Owen Public Relations,PHILELLENES
held a special event to raise awareness and provide informa-
tion about the consequences of the economic crisis in Greece
and its impact in many of our fellow-beings. The goal of this
event was the collection of resources for the reinforcement of
the programSYN sto PLIN.
Hellenic American College and Hellenic Ameri-
can University
Presentation from the Department of Human Resources of the
organization with the theme: ”The ABC’s of Volunteer Recruit-
ment”.
NEW EYES ON OUR WORLD EVENT
The goal of this event was to create a new discussion and to
project a new optics for our world and for who we are in it to in-
spire the public, to give hope, to propose directions, outlets and
opportunities for creative participation and to become aware of
our power but also our responsibility as members of our com-
munity and our world. The event included apresentation from
PRAKSIS’ Director of Human Resources, Danai Vallianatou.
