to render these people capable of taking active part in
social activities and to exercise their rights. PRAKSIS,
through its legal representative, holds the position of the
vice president.
Hellenic Network for the Right in Shelter and Domicile
PRAKSIS participates in an already-organized network
of organizations that cooperate in the promotion of the
right to shelter at a social and institutional level. PRAK-
SIS, through its legal representative, holds the position of
the vice president.
World Without Wars
“World Without Wars” is an international network of or-
ganizations that organizes awareness and information
campaigns for the fight against violence and wars.
Open Program Diavasi (KETHEA)
PRAKSIS cooperates with the open program Diavasi
(KETHEA), which operates seminars on Health Education
for the Day and Night Center for Information, which lasts
3 months.
Kethea Paremvasi
The Paremvasi program of KETHEA provides Health Edu-
cation seminars for the Morning Center, the community of
Rafina, and parent groups that last for 1 year.
Cooperation with KETHEA ITHAKI for the ”Center of
Information and Admission” program for addicted per-
sons in Thessaloniki.
Cooperation in the National Committee for the Rights
of Man.
Federation of Volunteers of Non-Governmental Organi-
zations of Greece
The Federation of Volunteers of Non-Governmental Or-
ganizations of Greece is the Secondary Coordinating
Body of the Volunteers of Non-Governmental Organiza-
tions that is active in a broad and versatile range of com-
munity service and awareness-raising. It was created
in 1996 in response to the need for concerted action of
NGOs. PRAKSIS, through its legal representative, holds
the position of the vice president.
Volonteurope
PRAKSIS is a member of the European Network Volon-
teurope, that brings together volunteers from all over the
world, aiming at promoting volunteer action throughout
the European Union. This is achieved through the facilita-
tion of the exchange of experiences and good practic-
es, through cooperation, and through opportunities for
training and the development of partnerships between its
members.
Network of Non-Governmental Organizations for the
Observation of the Application of the International Con-
tract for the Child’s Rights
The network has as its goal the protection and the ad-
vancement of the rights of the child in our country and
in particular the application of the International Con-
tract of the United Nations for the Rights of the Child in
Greece. Participants in this network, apart from PRAK-
SIS, include: the Body of Greek Guides; Research Center
Roots; Social Educational Action; the National Council of
Greek Women; Arsis; Happy Children, Cheerful Youth; the
Body of Greek Scouts; the Network of the Rights of the
Child; Paternity; ELEPAP; Center of Paedagogical and Ar-
